Phone number changed - can't log in

My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile. 

Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.

I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.

Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.

Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.

Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!

Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

I do not have access to mobile phone and hence cannot enter login code. How do I access my account?

Hey guys! I started my account while I lived in Italy and I no longer use the contact number registered. But when I tried to change it, paypal is asking for verification with that same number. I can’t sign in anyway. Kindly help me change the number...

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

I recently got a new phone number because my old phone number stopped working.

Now i have trouble logging into my paypal account. Because they send the code to the wrong phone number.

Is there anything i can do about this?

Hi can someone help i have the email and password to log in but i cannot because is ask me to send verification number on my mobile phone...i changed the phone numer and the old one. Aexpired...so how im suppose to get the code or to submit the new telephone number. Tnx best regards

Hello, I have a very big problem, I can't get onto my PayPal account, basically I don't have my old phone number which is still on my account and I have a new phone with a new number, everytime I try to log into my account it wants me to verfie myself by sending me a code to my old phone number, it gives me no other options to send my code to my email instead or anything so now I'm stuck without being able to get into my account.

i lost my phone number and paypal is not letting me access my account without putting the code they are sending on my number how can i change my number or login using my email id i have to transfer funds

I have UK paypal account but I come to Australia and change my phone number. I haven't log in for long time and They ask me code but I add UK number, Im not used now. How can I change UK numbers to Australia numbers?
