Some Options to the ridiculous 21 day hold.

I, like hundred's even thousands of others am past my limit with this ridiculous policy. I started a topic months ago "IM not going to ship items until the hold is released". Well since then horror stories have poured in, I get at least 20 responses a day on it, Papal acting like the SS Storm Troopers of the virtual void and freezing accounts as a result of speaking up, complaining about this policy. Well it appears paypal has no intention at all of changing this policy. Why should they? The greedy big-wigs sit back and collect millions in interest every single DAY on our money that they hold until a lazy or inconsiderate buyer decides to leave positive feedback. Or 21 days, whichever comes first. If you notice though, Papal takes their fees out right away.

I went with First Data Merchant Services to accept credit cards, They give you a free online shopping cart, a terminal to process credit cards, and a few other really cool perks. They charge 2.19% + .25 cents per transaction. It is sent directly to your account. THEN you send the item. Like the rest of the normal world. You want something, you pay for it, it gets sent to you. For f**ks sake, it is such BS. And I have had it. There is a class action lawsuit being filed against Paypal, they are violating the Electronic Funds Transfer Act. Since they aren't a bank, they don't have to follow any of the regulations that financial institutions have to follow if they are holding your money.

I truly hope that some day Papal comes to their senses, its not fair and not right. WE have the power in numbers as consumers, but we have to act and unite to bring them to their knees. They obviously are not concerned with customer satisfaction. I for one will not use Pay pal as soon as I can make the transition. Not for selling. Let me know what you think!

I am a buyer waiting for item I paid for on November 26th. When will they release payment to the seller? On my Paypal it says payment is complete. Do I count the day I paid? And are they releasing the money without numerous requests to do So?

They released my money as soon as I got feedback. But I don't know if that stands for everyone as

they seem to make rules up as they go along. I think we need to all call and ask for supervisors at

paypal and ebay, they are the same rip off company. I also emailed my buyers that didn't give me

feedback yet and explained the situation. On the paypal debit cards it cost you a dollar every time

you use it.

What they are doing is holding the money for 21 days from the day you paid, and it does said on the buyers and on the sellers transaction complete due to its been complete, paypal already got the money from your bank but they have it on hold on their bank, this is till you go and put only good feedback for the seller, if you leave bad feedback we sellers will not get paid, and if you do not leave feed back we will get paid in 21 days, if the 21 days already pass form the day you paid contact your seller and let them know how long it has bees to mail your item or to check his papal account, maybe they have not even notes due to a lot of people just closed their accounts with paypal or are just so tired of their b.. that they are now totally ignoring it. please do not leave bad feedback or less than 5 stars on any category due to this is really not the sellers fault but it is getting so frustrated here we are already paying double the amount of taxes on 1 item ( I mean on the fees ), to some one that ones both companies, eBay and paypal....... He is not the government, but hey we should all just stop using both and go to other sites there is many that will appreciate our business and treat us like humans not worst that their dogs.

i just checked out, and joined ebids, but they are based in the UK, anyone know of a user friendly one here in the US???, i'm tired of the axis of evil, also, (ebay and paypal) aka.....the evil twins!.....Ive been a registered seller since 2007 and they are now putting my funds on hold also, i have spent numerous hours on the phone as these two play ping pong with me and to no avail, they read from scripts and they hardly speak english, ive been hung up on, oh yes, they hang up on you when you back them into a corner, with a question such as.........why are you breaking your own rule?  they abuse us and hold OUR MONEY!!!!

Ebids might be UK based but they have a seperate US Base, just as EBay has in different countries. I joined and set up a google pay express acount. They also let you accept money orders and checks. Not as many members as EFees but no listing fees might work well. Also a flat 3% onMy eBid Auction HQ gross sales is not bad either. If everone affected by this insane paypal practice were to sell there it would expand rapidly.  A great idea just flashed inside my pea brain.  Buy from ebay where the buyer is catered too,and sell on EBids.  I am doing that and it works well!!!     This is just a suggestion!!!  Try it and see what happens.   They also accept Paypal but I wonder how long they will do that.
