I think it's absolutely RIDICULOUS that PayPal offers a service WITH a fee to initiate an INSTANT transfer to your bank debit card only to hold the funds for 24-72 hours. I have had my PayPal account for over 4 years and yesterday I tried to transfer money for an item that I sold AND shipped and they put a hold on it. I don't know why thing think it's right to hold money on an account that has been verified and has never had any "suspicious" activity on it. Try calling customer service and get someone in the Philippines who apparently has no idea what they are talking about. First I am told my bank denied the transfer. FALSE. Then I am told it will take 72 hours. Then I am told it will take 24 hours. Then I am told it will take 8 hours. Then I am told it will take 5 hours. So tell me PayPal which is it?
