Why has seller not received my payments. It is bad enough that i had to wait 5-8 working days for my payment to clear, then on my transactions it says payment completed but seller is saying that no payment has been received. What should i do. Thanks

We have been contacted by a customer who says they placed an order with us on the 1st January and gives a Transaction id. number.  However there is no trace of this payment in our account.  We have emailed Paypal regarding this but have had no response.

In another post on this forum, this time from a buyer, the Paypal representatives is telling them to raise a complaint with the seller!  If there is no trace of the payment coming in to the seller's account, how is this the fault, or responsibility of the seller?

In the meantime, since the 31st December we have received no notifications of payments and have to constantly log in to our account to check on order status.  What worries us is how many other orders are we missing.

Hey there, Just another not on this. If the payment did not complete into your account then the buyer will not be able to open a complaint. If the buyer can open a dispute then there is no doubt that the payment cleared into the sellers account. I’ve moved your post here as it's the same issue.

Hey there, I appreciate that you may be pretty frustrated, but please do try and put a structure to your query or point. It makes it easier to reply.

If what you’re saying is that the seller claims not to have received your payment, then review the “History Log” in your PayPal account.  If the status is “Completed” then the payment has been received to an active PayPal account. If the status is “Unclaimed”, you may have an option to cancel.

Please be assured that your transaction is fully covered under our Buyer Protection Policy and you have 45 days after the transaction completes to file a dispute or claim to get your funds back. You should of course deal directly with your seller in this matter; they may be having genuine issues in receiving the payment. Good Luck.

Ebay is telling me that payment has been made by various sellers and I have received emails showing that payment has been received including transaction IDs but nothing is coming up in my account on Paypal!

How do I get the money if it's not showing in paypal??

I need to post my items but can't until payment has been guaranteed!

This seems to be happening a fair bit?!!

Silly thing is, I actually sent off the item once I received notification that payment has been received.  Only thing. after over 2 weeks, money is not in my account.  Item is not even mine, just helped someone to sell it.  Happens to be the first item I've sold on ebay as well.

Paypal = any chance you could help to investigate this payment? Don't want to go harassing the lady until I know she's the one who's defaulted

Hello,

I've just received my first payment from a buyer couple of days ago. And it was shown on my selling page that the payment was received. But when I go to my paypal account, there's still nothing on my balance. I confirmed everything it required, the bank account, the email address. I need some help~

 Thank you !

Hey guys,

There are a few possible reasons that you are unable to see your payments. If you are a new seller, it could be the case that the funds are being held on your account until we can see that your buyer has received the item from you. If you go to the History page, you may be able to locate the payment from here on your PayPal account.

The next possible reason is if you are selling the item on eBay. It could be the case that

this payment may be trying to be sent to an old or inactive email address. This happens from time to time and it a technical issue but i'm not sure if the issue is on the eBay or PayPal website.

My best advice for you is to follow the steps below in order to check what email address you used in your listing.

1. Go to http://www.ebay.com/and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘My eBay’ at the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Sold’ under ‘Activity’.
4. Click the item you sold.
5. Click ‘Sell a similar item’.

You can then find the email address in the ‘Decide how you’d like to be paid’ section. If you have access to the email address that it showing here, you can register and confirm the email address on your PayPal account and you will receive the funds within a few hours.

If you don't have access to the email address that is showing here, you will need to contact your buyer and ask them to cancel the payment from their PayPal account. From here, they can then send the payment to you using the Send Money tab on their PayPal account.

If you are selling the item on your website and you are not successfully receiving PayPal payments, you should try contacting customer services directly and we can investigate it further on your behalf. It could be a technical issue that is resulting in the funds not being received in to your account.

I hope this helps,

David.

Hi, I'm having the following problem...

Two buyers on ebay have completed their transactions, on ebay there is an egg timer and when I hover over it with the mouse it says 'Payment was initiated in 01 sept and is being processed through paypal'

the buyers are contacting me wondering where their items are but the money hasn't transferred into my paypal account yet so I don't want to post them.

Why is the transaction taking so long, it's normally so quick!

Does anyone know what I need to do to resolve this?

Thanks!
