Seller has not received payments.

Why has seller not received my payments. It is bad enough that i had to wait 5-8 working days for my payment to clear, then on my transactions it says payment completed but seller is saying that no payment has been received. What should i do. Thanks

Hi there Zilovely,

 

The best thing to do is to contact your seller and give them as much information that you can see on your transaction details page. If you give them the exact date and time when the payment was sent, your email address, amount of payment and any other information that would be benificial to them, they should be able to find the payment on their account.

 

If they still advise you that they are unable to see the payment, you should consider opening a dispute on the transaction through your PayPal account.

Hi calexander, if this is concerning transaction of yours, please follow these steps to review the status of your transaction:

 

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click ‘History’ near the top of the page to see your most recent transactions.
  3. To display more transactions, change the date range and click ‘Show.’

After you find the transaction you’re looking for, click ‘Details’ for more information.

By default, you will automatically be shown the ‘All activity’ page in your History log. If you wish, you can click on the links near the top of the page to view ‘Recent Activity’, or ‘Find a transaction’. By selecting the relevant links you can filter the activity you want to see, such as 'All activity (with balance)' or 'Payments received' etc.

Hi,

 

I have a similar problem. I have sold an item on ebay and on ebay it says the payment was made on 18th of May but when I click to see the paypal transaction it comes up saying 'transaction ID invalid'.

I have contac ted the buyer and they said they made the payment. However I cannot see the payment on my paypal history so I do not know what to do!

 

I have contacted paypal but still heard nothing back. I don't want to keep my buyer waiting much longer but do not know what to do!

That's exactly what happened to me. I'm actually thinking of leaving paypal now coz They took the **bleep** And I was hoping to use that money now I don't even know where it is. They said They released it but its not bloody there. I miss the old times when the money used to just go there. I got all positive feedback but no They don't want put it in. I'm actually annoyed. And you know what They have the cheek to charge fees too. **bleep** them. I want my money back so I can leave this mofo paypal

Hi, if the payment is still pending in eBay, this usually means the email address in your listing does not match the email address on your PayPal account

 

Here's how to find the email address that was used in your eBay listing:

 

  1. Find the item you sold and click 'Sell a similar item' under 'More Actions'.
  2. Go to the section 'Decide how you'd like to be paid', which displays the email address where the payment was sent.
  3. If the email address displayed in your listing is correct, I would suggest contacting the buyer and checking the exact email address they sent the payment to. Even a minor spelling mistake will mean that the payment is not sent to your PayPal account.

I recently sold 2 items on Ebay and have been in touch with the buyers who say they have paid through paypal.  Everytime I go to claim my payment and i log in to paypal no money has been sent, I still have the same balance as before I sold the items.  I checked my details and realised the email is not my paypal email which I didn'[t realise.  What do I do now as my buyers are waiting for their goods.

I sold an ipad yesterday for £243.00 plus £7.00 p&p.  The buyer says he has paid using PayPal but when I checked this morning, the balance is £0.00.  I have send the item this morning before I checked PayPal.  What do I do now?  I'm really worried!!

 

Please advise.
