I bought something 2 weeks ago. I got scammed. I was not able to dispute the claim until a week after purchase. When I filed the claim, I was told if they did not receive a reply from the seller in a week, the claim will go in my favour and I would win it. It’s been a week, no reply from seller, I go to resolution centre and click on my claim to view the status and it says it is unable to check the status of the claim. Frustrating, but I message the virtual agent for more info on my case and it says that the seller has until the 25th of MAY. This is totally ridiculous. I will have waited a month by the time I get my money back?? Not acceptable. I have other things I desperately need that money for and yet I can’t have it for another 2 weeks! The proof is all there, the seller deleted his profile the day after payment and dodged all my emails of my concern and the tracking number he provided is fake. How on earth does it take a full month to figure out whether or not the guy is a scammer. Not happy.

YUP! I'm in the same boat. Absolutely USELESS to try to get any help from PayPal. My dispute has been going on for over a month and the 'resolution' they just gave me was the exact same place I started when i put the claim in. That's it for me, no more PayPal. Not to mention, you can't ever contact a real representative - its all PayPal assistant garbage!
Im Done - i hope paypal gets put out of business .... what a joke!
I called my credit card company and within 10 mins my dispute was resolved and they are issuing me a full refund. Done and done!

Add another scammed user. Seller provides a tracking number to an address with the same zip code. PayPal closes the dispute even though addresses don't math and product weight not even close. Now PayPal won't let me open an appeal, and won't respond.

Same with me. I ordered the Massage chair which is like 200+ Lbs in weight and got an envelope with baby stickers which is like 1oz.
Dispute was closed with just tracking number.

To give Kudos back to PayPal, I was able to convince them to re-open my dispute so I can send them evidence that the tracking number provided by the seller was a completely different address.

I chatted with them a few times, and kept sending documentation that showed the item we sent to a different address, the items weighed significantly more that the weight that was shipped, and I even got the business who received the item they claimed was sent to me, to provide proof of receipt. It took some effort on my part, but PayPal eventually refunded me.
