I bought something 2 weeks ago. I got scammed. I was not able to dispute the claim until a week after purchase. When I filed the claim, I was told if they did not receive a reply from the seller in a week, the claim will go in my favour and I would win it. It’s been a week, no reply from seller, I go to resolution centre and click on my claim to view the status and it says it is unable to check the status of the claim. Frustrating, but I message the virtual agent for more info on my case and it says that the seller has until the 25th of MAY. This is totally ridiculous. I will have waited a month by the time I get my money back?? Not acceptable. I have other things I desperately need that money for and yet I can’t have it for another 2 weeks! The proof is all there, the seller deleted his profile the day after payment and dodged all my emails of my concern and the tracking number he provided is fake. How on earth does it take a full month to figure out whether or not the guy is a scammer. Not happy.

How were you able to contact PayPal. They keep closing my disputes and much like you I have two separate tracking numbers one is Chinese company the other is UPS both say delivered but I never received the bike I purchased. The seller will not reply to emails and the phone number is just busy all the time. Why is PayPal supporting customers being ripped off? I'm so frustrated at the moment

If you used PayPal Credit, I went to them after no success communicating with PayPal. Since I had no success reaching PayPal after they denied my claim, even though the shipping info was fraudulent (confirmed by UPS), I found PayPal Credit to be much more helpful but still in process. PayPal Credit is a different bank/company but they are connected. Another option is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started), but do not go with both options (pick BBB or PayPal Credit). I did both and PayPal rejected my BBB claim because I had already filed a claim with PayPal Credit.

Same issue here. They have closed two of my disputes without me ever getting the merchandise. PayPal is not responding and there is NO way to contact them.

I have the same issue, Paypal is getting away with doing nothing but spin you in circles.
Bought an item off a website, received a receipt through paypal for something not matching the description. Received a fake USPS tracking number (a package sent and received before the transaction even took place), communicated with seller asking for correct tracking number- no response. Reported a problem in the resolution center. Then received an email that the Seller had escalated it to a claim and that my problem was denied!! Unreal. Will not be using Paypal again, buyer protection , as if!
So now I'm in a communication merry-go-round with a messaging center where people obviously speak very limited English and cannot understand the messages. No one to call....
