The date of my dispute resolution keeps being pushed back, is this normal?

I have recently been scammed out of a product and set a dispute up to get my money back however the date of the resolution keeps being pushed back, originally it was meant to be resolved on the 18th then the 24th now it’s saying the 3rd of October and I’m beginning to worry I’ll never get my money back, is this normal?

Paypal it appears are inundated with claims mainly from buyers that bought tat from these China websites or Social Media ads !
So all claims are being pushed back unfortunately.

As long as yours has been escalated from a dispute to a claim, and is still being reviewed then you have the chance of a refund.
Sadly you will have to wait it out in the long queue though.
