Hi Everyone,
Similar to what some of you may have already experienced, I filed a dispute because the seller's listing and what I received did not matched.
I sent the item back to the seller, and sent the photos of the package and postal receipt to the resolution center.
The item reached seller's country's customs and was held there for a period of time. I contacted paypal and notify them of the situation.
They say they will notify the seller. But the item remains unclaimed. Finally at the end of August the item was released by the customs and now it is at some logistic facility.
However, my claim is now denied becaused Paypal say "The case was closed in the seller's favour as the proof of return you provided was invalid."
This is extremely frustrating and Paypal makes it extremely difficult to contact anybody.
I appreciate it if anyone can offer any advise on how to appeal the decision.
If this is not resolved fairly, I will probably stop using paypal permanently and advise everyone that I know to stay away from paypal.
If this is how paypal do things, I can see more scammers abusing paypal and scamming people by sending them things that they did not order, agree to refunds after customer send back item, and then just ignore the package and let paypal automatically decide in their favor that the item was not sent back to them and deny refund to the buyer.

Thank you, I have contacted paypal via facebook.
Still quite **bleep** that this issue is still around after so many people getting **bleep** by sellers not retrieving the return package from customs or logistics.
This always gets our claim denied because the claim period expired and the package is still not marked as delivered.
