To re-open wrong dispute case for being scammed by Lingc.Youp Ludozo.com

Hi, 

 

I need help from Paypal and the community in resolving my case with a scammer. Unfortunately, it is my first time to report a dispute, 

I filed as "unauthorized transaction" but actually it is to file "not being able to receive the item" and that seller has not return any responses regarding the shipment of my goods. 

 

I feel helpless that Paypal would not try to look into this. Since the Case closed automatically and that their customer service is unreachable now because of the Covid-19 crisis situation. I have purchased with the total of $19.98 x 6 transactions = $119.88. I can provide screenshots to prove my case. 
 
I saw this shop through facebook then it lead me to the website opting me to pay through paypal express with my credit card. As you can see the website and the website has the name  "Lingc.Youp" that is registered to the scammer's account in Paypal. I have also read and confirmed reviews and reports that the website is a scam newly registered last March 2020.
 
Website you can see is selling the scooter offering to ask buyers to purchase here through paypal express.

I have had a dispute closed without my permission.  I immediately realised when I tried to contact seller they were scammers because they were uncontactable.  I told paypal immediately but they closed the dispute.  How can Paypal be trusted if this happens?  Surely they should know if sellers that use paypal scam people as scammers are then free to scam other people.  I am waiting to hear from Paypal but it is not as easy as just picking up a phone to explain the problem.

Similar experience here. Bought a picnic folding box through a social media advert, several months later, many emails with pathetic excuses from them, and today a folding storage box (the kind that you'd get from the pound shop and expect change for) turned up.

 

I've got an open dispute with Paypal, but don't really expect anything in return.

 

Interestingly (but not suprisingly) this company seems to be using various email addresses and domains for their site and the main site I bought via is now unavailable.

Had the same experience. Got scammed by these filthy piece of **bleep** chinese scammers. They sent me a 10 cents piece of plastic and pretend the item was delivered. Now, I opened a dispute, they asked me to return the item to these scammers, WITH MY MONEY? WHEN THE SHIPPING COST IS LIKE TWICE THE PRICE I PAID !!!!!! WHAT A **bleep** JOKE !!!! These chinese scum know a lot of people will give up.

The WORST thing here is me, and many many people called paypal and tell them about this "seller" and yet, nothing is done, their account is still not banned. Despite the hundred of complain and disputes they received about Ludozo.com, they are still active and allowed to scam hundred of people everyday !!!

PAYPAL do NOT care about you, buyer, they DO NOT protect customers like they claim to !!!! All they do is getting their fee in every transaction.

 

Paypal know perfectly what Ludozo, or any other chinese scammer do, and do nothing about it : for me, they are partner with these scammers, their reputation and so called customer protection lower customer's mistrust.

Since you used a credit card vs a checking account, raise this issue with your credit card company ASAP.  They should be able to get your refund.  Paypal is USELESS

I guess the only way to change things is to spam social media.

Everytime paypal post ads on facebook or twitter to say how good and safe they are, we post our story, about how they deal with chinese scammers, how they side with them, and not closing their account despite the thousand of complain they receive.

When they will start to have a bad reputation and lose a significant amount of money, maybe they will do something.

Agree. Consumers are been scammed and PayPal does nothing. I paid $10 for a item I didn’t order, got an inferior item. PayPal told me to return item postage $30. No way so they closed case, I threw the items in the trash.

My claim against Ludozo has been closed today against me, with no reinbursement. What a level of customer protection! I think I'll close my account, I'm tired of Paypal.

Try contacting an agent thru the message app in PayPal (bell in top right corner)

They have managed to help me with similar problems
