... or stop pretending they protect their customers ! The scheme is very well known, it's always the same : Advertisements for items at very attractive price on social medias (shame of them to not remove these ads, btw), you order and instead of your item, you receive a piece of garbage which worth less than 1$, they send it to you instead of just sending nothing so thay have a tracking number. Then, you open a dispute with paypal and they ask you to return the item... which cost you 2x or 3x the price you paid... So, many buyers just give up and it's big win for the scammer... Or a small win, but repeated thousand of times with the complacency of PayPal... What I don't understand is, why a supposely reputable company like Paypal do nothing about it ? They receive hundreds if no thousand of complain every week and yet, the scammer's paypal accounts are never closed and they are allowed to scam more people everyday with the same method, abusing paypal's return policies. This is really a shame, I feel like paypal work together with them : you buy things online with confidence, thinking you are protected, and then you realise that it's not the case, paypal should do something about this or that will harm their reputation.
