Phone number changed - can't log in

My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile. 

Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.

I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.

Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.

Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.

Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!

Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

Old cell phone number I have another PayPal account and the only way to log In is with my old cell phone number... I don't have other option to do it and I need to manage some subscriptions. I really need help. Is there any email for I can send an email form that registered account for them to update my cell phone?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

As your question is very account specific, I would advise you to contact our customer care department who can help you further. Hi everyone.

Any of you guys know why paypal send sms messages to a different number than registered on profile? In my case, I forgot my password, so, for recovering it, I selected to send confirmation code in order to change password, but sms never was delivered to my phone. The cause, paypal tried to deliver de sms to my number but with an extra zero number concatenated after the country area code. For example, I live in Ecuador and phone number must be like this [Removed] but paypal tries to deliver to the number [Removed]. Thats the reason behind sms delivery fails. Any of you knows how can I solve this problem? I also thought that I registered a wrong number on my profile, but every time I want to register my number again, paypal cotinues concatenating a cero at the begining of the number without the country area code.
