i need to know if service payments take longer to clear or show at both the sender and the recipients end please?
Money was sent, email address double checked, but no email confirming the sending of the payment, or change in any balance/activity, and the recipient has not got anything either

Normally your funds would show straight away in your PayPal account regardless of the type of payment. We were having some delays with payments showing on the day you posted so that may have been why your payment did not come through straight away.
