I called Amazon or who I thought was Amazon trying to dispute a humidifier that had stopped working. This man took over my account by remote control. Said he needed it in order to help me. He proceeded to rifle through three of my cash app accounts, including PayPal doing damage to my daughter by $6000/and myself $3000 I have repeatedly filed claims with PayPal only to be turned down and told that it was typical behavior of mine !! An absolute lie. I don't know where to go for help I did not do this and this also involved my daughters account who was completely innocent as well. He proceeded to route the monies through different credit cards. Where do you get help for this? I didn't do it.

You allowed a scammer to access your paypal account and expect paypal to foot the bill for your mistake?

No, I did not allow a scammer access to my accounts.. You are assuming a lot. This started with an Amazon complaint. And this guy was not from Amazon.. I did not know it. So please keep your opinions to yourself, because you have no idea what happened. It would take me four hours to explain everything that did happen. which is really none of your business.

Presumably then you googled Amazons phone number instead of going to their site and going via ''contact us'' to get the correct number?

A lot of scammers use google search to put in fake Amazon / Paypal etc phone numbers so you would have phoned a scammer.

Having phoned a scammer and then given the scammer remote control to your computer (which you clearly stated you did) then you now want Paypal to sort it out for you.

If its not my business then feel free to not to post on here asking advice.

My advice is you made a mistake, phoned a scammer and then gave them access to your computer so its unlikely Paypal would pay you for that mistake. !!!

I'm thinking instead of attacking people you would have better things to say for advice. But no matter my issue was resolved and I have been refunded.
