Buyer opened payment dispute because eBay closed return request in my favour

Hi hope someone can advise on this matter. I am a non commercial ebay seller with a clear no returns policy(with exceptions in line with ebay/consumer rules). I sold a New with tags 100% linen skirt, with a listing that had all measurements, clear photos and invitations to asks any question to help buyers make informed purchase. The buyer asked a question about this skirt, was it lined and was it see through. Before I had time to answer(1 day) they had decided to purchase the item before waiting on my reply. I replied anyway stating skirt not lined, but that it should be opaque enough, but given I had not worn it, this was just an opinion. The buyer messaged after delivery asking for refund, saying skirt did not fit. I flagged up no returns policy and politely declined refund(ebay closed the request). I then got a flurry of increasing rude and inflammatory messages from the buyer saying i was a scammer and that they would send the skirt back and report me to their bank. I politely suggested that they re sell or donate to charity to save them postage charges and hassle of returning. The buyer accused me of trying to control them and insisted I took skirt back so that i could make more profit from selling it twice. I blocked the buyer and archived the messages after asking them not to contact me again. I reported them to ebay. I received negative feedback from them but it was removed by ebay before I could read it. I was then asked to provide evidence for the payment dispute, which I did(the listing details and photos and summary of dialogue with buyer). The reason given by the buyer was my refusal to refund/accept return and poor quality of the skirt(not mentioned in their initial request for refund. I have no returns policy as i put lots of detail in my listing, take numerous photos and encourage questions. I have good ratings/feedback and just making extra ,money to pay bills etc. I  have not misled this buyer, but worried I will lose much needed money from a honest sale and need to understand what my rights are in these circumstances? the buyer's reaction I feel was disproportionate and unnecessarily rude(I did not engage in this tone in my replies to them) This feels malicious, in that they did not get their own way, had clearly not read the listing, my policy or waited for me to clarify issues about the skirt before they bought. Any advice gratefully received. kindest regards.

In the event of an item received but not as described dispute it is always one persons word against anothers, so as paypal is the middleman they have to make a judgement call.

So if and only if they find in favour of the buyer then the buyer would have to return the item back to you (trackable at their own expense) before you having to give them a full refund.

The buyer might not even need to pay for return shipping cost PayPal has covered me twice. #1 return was to China which was £31 PayPal put £56 and the second return was to central London. PayPal put £20 as an offer amount, the return shipping was £2.89.

Paypal stopped the 'return postage on us' services a few months back.

So any returns are at your own expense.
