Not able to process my request adding new phone number?

Since I'm no longer use my old phone#, I'm trying to add my new phone# first before removing the old one.

Somehow the paypal website kept telling me "Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later." 

I also tried to add new number on Paypal APP, but system still shows trouble.

And I told online chatbot to add number for me, it says "I'm sorry, something stopped me from getting your information. Please contact us or try again later."

And I'm sure the format is correct, which is 10-digital without space.

Yo...what am I supposed to do now. The customer service number takes like forever to get through...Paypal is making me helpless and hopeless??

Sorry to hear that you're not able to update your phone number in your PayPal account. Please try clearing your cookies, history, cache, etc. or try using a different browser. Please make sure that the number you're trying to add is issued in the same country as your account is registered and not include the country code as PayPal will be automatically adding this. If the issue persists after trying all these, your best option would be contacting the Support team. You can find the available contact options to reach the team here.

Thanks for your reply. I see what's going on with my issue now, my account was limited for some reasons and some of my account features are blocked, so I will try calling the customer service again and request to restore my account features.
