paypal plus credit card info not showing up on paypal.com

I have seen where many others have had this same problem, but no one has gotten a fix.  I have been told by Paypal plus (GE Money) that it's not their problem -- Paypal.com has to fix it.  Paypal.com says it's not their problem, Paypal Plus Credit Card has to fix it.  One said that it's supposed be fixed on Oct 3rd and another says Oct 31st.  One said they've not heard there's a problem, another said that they've heard it's because paypal hasn't uploaded files they need to upload.  Everyone blames everyone else or says it's not a problem - yet we can't access our reward points, check for fraudulent activity, or pay on our balance. 

 

Doesn't *anyone* out there know what's going on and when it's going to be fixed?

I also realized today that the Paypal Extras Mastercard is not my default payment method anymore. Without my knowing, they drew money from my bank account instead of charging it to my Mastercard. What the **bleep** is going on? I have only made one payment (through Paypal) on this card, as it is brand new to me. I'm confused about what to do & am loathe to contact customer service after reading these posts. 

 

Hopefully someone will have an answer for his issue. I hope it is soon.

Hi everyone,

 

I know there are some people who are still having linking issues even after this thread was marked as solved.  The previous issue has been resolved and the majority of accounts are linking automatically without issue.  With that said, I know there are still some situations where a PayPal Extras MasterCard (or Smart Connect) may become unlinked with PayPal.  This usually happens when a card has been reported as lost or stolen.

 

If this situation occurs, please contact the Credit Service Center to report the problem.  That step initiates the process we have in place to receive manual linking requests.

You need to read this thread more thoroughly. There are two common issues hear, and neither has anything to do with a card reported as lost or stolen. There are first time card members that cannot link their account to the PayPal login screen (that was my issue), and those that have had a previously linked account, but has since lost the link.

 

Furthermore, a card reported as lost or stolen is deactivated, yet most of the complaints here are for working cards, they just can't access their account through PayPal.

Thanks Paypal_Frank for that, mmmmmm, USELESS posting. When was the last time you had a brain scan? 'Cause you obviously were NOT ADDRESSING THE MAIN ISSUE OF THE THREAD!!!!! Paypal customers, including myself, are unable to access their Paypal Mastercard account information. Is this not plainly the main complaint of most of the posters to this thread? And why do you people continue to spout the same inaccurate statement ".....the previous issue has been resolved."?????? When it has clearly NOT BEEN RESOLVED?!?!?!?

Sorry for any confusion. I want to provide you with the best information to help get these account specific issues resolved.

 

At the time this thread was created, there was a technical issue that was causing widespread linking issues between PayPal and GE Capital Retail Bank.  That specific problem has been resolved and most accounts are linking without issue.

 

If a PayPal Extras MasterCard is not linked to PayPal when it should be, the necessary course of action is to contact the Credit Service Center. 

 

Contacting the Credit Service Center is the only way to initiate the process which allows PayPal and GE Capital Retail Bank to exchange information and establish the link manually.  There is definitely a solution to this issue but it does have to be implemented on each account manually.  I recognize the frustration involved in making another call to get the issue resolved.  Once the credit service center has begun the process, PayPal representatives are in a much better position to investigate from our end.
