paypal plus credit card info not showing up on paypal.com

I have seen where many others have had this same problem, but no one has gotten a fix.  I have been told by Paypal plus (GE Money) that it's not their problem -- Paypal.com has to fix it.  Paypal.com says it's not their problem, Paypal Plus Credit Card has to fix it.  One said that it's supposed be fixed on Oct 3rd and another says Oct 31st.  One said they've not heard there's a problem, another said that they've heard it's because paypal hasn't uploaded files they need to upload.  Everyone blames everyone else or says it's not a problem - yet we can't access our reward points, check for fraudulent activity, or pay on our balance. 

Doesn't *anyone* out there know what's going on and when it's going to be fixed?

I spoKe to 29 people a couple were intelligent and one was sympathetic . I even forced a conference call so they could point the finger directly. Disgusted that they couldn't resolve this issue I threw the PayPal Master card in a drawer and forgot about it. Maybe I could use it to scrape gum off something ?. A year later got a new one and it worked !. Until I sent an echeck from the bank and they held my money hostage for five days and counting . There is no good reason for doing this and I resent it . So the card gets shredded this time . Would love to hear their excuse .

I have read through the 11 pages of this thread and I am in the same situation as they all are. My Paypal Extras Mastercard number was stolen and used online. I called as soon as I knew about it and notified Paypal. Since then, I have received a new card but I no longer have access to my Paypal Extras Mastercard on the website.

I have the aforementioned "linking issue". I have contacted the Paypal Credit Service Center and they were no help. They gave me the run-around until they eventually promised it would be fixed in a few days. It was not.

Before I flip out with ALL-CAPS and exclamation marks, contact friends at widely-read blogs, threaten a lawsuit, or start hunting for personal information on Paypal employees to contact them more directly, would you please let the necessary people know so that my account might be re-linked in the shortest amount of time? 

I am a young person who travels a lot and I've never actually payed a Paypal bill anywhere else than online. I need this taken care of as quickly as possible.

Yeah Same here My card number was also stolen and used, and I got a New One And cant get them to link it too my new Paypal card, I'm Kind of getting upset. They want there Money they best Link my account to paypal...

I had to change credit card # because GE money called and said there was some activity on that card that I did not authorize. I changed cards # and since then I have lost viewing and paying on my card. I have also been given the run around and can't get the problem fixed. I did however get a call and made a payment over the phone, they waived the $15.00 fee. Today July 19th I recieved a paper statement from GE Money and it doesn't show my payment. I am not a bad customer, I just wanr the card statemnet to show up on my PayPal account. Is ther an answer to this problem?

I'm still having this issue.  After a year.  Every month I have to **bleep** it up and pay $15 to make a payment.  It's redicuous.

I was thinking about applying to the Extras MasterCard since I use PayPal so much. I've been researching about it here at the forum. I'm absolutely horrified about the complaints and am glad I didn't apply yet. Will have to think about that more.

However, to all the people here who are having problems with the card not showing up and linked to PayPal, did you know you can register your account directly at the GE Money Bank website? That would perhaps be a more reliable way to manage your account and pay bills online. Here is the link to the bank: https://www.gemoney.com/en/personal/index.html. I've read through their website and it appears that anyone who has a GE Money issued credit card can register for an online account.

I am still thinking about getting this card, and if I do get it, the first thing I would do is register for an account directly on the GE Money website.

If you try to register a PayPal Rewards Extra MasterCard account on the GE Money site -- you'll get an error message telling you you can't register your account there.  Too bad...

If you only pay minimum payment, you pay a great deal of interest. As for your other post, The only way your balance would increase without racking up additional charges, is if you are incurring late fees, and, or, NOT paying the full minimum payment. Minimum payment will be some principal, and mostly interest.
