Can not use bank account for payment

Hy

I have an issue with payment on website called Klekt, Stockx, Goat an others. When I go to the checkout and choose Paypal as a payment option I am directed to the paypal site and it says that i have to add my debit or credit card, but I have already added my bank account and conifirmed it. Few days ago I was able to pay on Klekt with bank account through Paypal site, but now I am not. But balance on my bank is just good to make this purchase. I have already contacted Klekt, Stockx support team and they responded that it is an error on paypal website and it is not their fault. I have already contacted Paypal support center but they responded that they can not do anything abour it and can not even explain. But I hope someone with same issue might advise me what to do and why is this happening. I am looking forward to your prompt reply.

Read the checkout screens (any fine print) carefully, it may be asking for a back up payment method for the bank account. PayPal will pay the merchant immediately and await your payment to clear the bank and if it is insufficient will tap your back up card, not before causing overdraft fees 3xtimes so add funds to your bank asap. Also, the site could be trying to set up a billing agreement with your back up for a more streamline checkout experience with future purchases. These auto payments and billing agreements can be found at the following after completing payment:

Personal Acct:

Go to Account Settings (gear icon) > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments

Select merchant on left, click Cancel on the right.

Business Acct:

Go to Account Settings (gear icon) > Money, banks and cards > Automatic payments > Set Automatic Payments

Click Merchant from list and select Cancel on the next page.

Some merchants may have blocked eChecks (bank payments without card back up) at their PayPal account as they are slow to process at which it'll ask for a back up card in order to complete payment.

I have this problem at the moment. I cannot make any purchases unless I link my credit card first and although my bank is my preferred method and that's confirmed it keeps taking payment from my CC.  I have no idea why and need help.
