Dispute

I sold something to this guy on Facebook on March 18th and he opened a claim on April 3rd. He used goods and services to pay because it was an agreed amount of $636. I have screen shot proof of both of us agreeing on that exact amount. He opened the case claiming that he was charged the incorrect amount (keep in mind, i have pictures of us agreeing on $636 from Facebook Messenger). It says that the buyer reported they were charged the incorrect amount or on the wrong date. Why would he do this when i have proof of us agreeing on $636? I sent PayPal our entire convo on messenger and they didn’t side with me. They said they might be able to recover it from the buyers financial institution. I also just received a collectors letter in the mail from PayPal wanting me to send them at least $300 for the dispute. Is there anything I can do with the amount of proof that I have?
