My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile.
Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.
I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.
Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.
Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.
Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!
Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

I have been asked to give my mobile number as secondary security to access my account but I have recently closed my mobile account and the number is deleted. I've not had this come up before and had made purchases yesterday. But today I am stuck. How do I get to contact paypal to resolve this or get in to change my mobile number.

As in the heading. I forgot to change my mobile number on my account details. Now I'm unable to access my account as each time I attempt to log on I'm faced with a 2 step authentication page that wants to send acode to my old number. I'm totally frustrated. HELP!

Did anyone find a resolute to this issue of the PSD2 yet? I am currently based outside the UK in West Africa but the number that was left on the account was my old UK landline number and I stopped using it over 10 years ago. Any help?
