Email change not working

I had changed the email associated with my account in Sept 2022. I am still getting notices about monthly statement to the old email. I've contacted help twice. The first time in October and they said I needed to give it more time to take affect. The second time they suggested the email to the old email address was a phishing attempt and to send to their phishing team. (99.9% sure it wasn't but I did anyway). They never responded other than 'thanks, got it). I just got another statement to the old email address.
Before another hour with the help/support, I thought I'd ask here. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

How do I add, remove or update an email address on my PayPal account?
To add a new email address, click +. Enter the email address and click Add Email
To update an email address, click Update next to the address you want to change. Make the update and click Change Email.
To remove an email address, click Remove.

Regards,

Will

Thanks for commented, but that isn't any help to me. I already changed the email address, but some part of PayPal is still using the old email!

Hi, I tried this method but this message appeared:

"

We're sorry, there seems to be a problem. If you keep seeing this, please contact Customer Service.
"

And as usual, getting a response from Paypal customer service is a horror. No one responses.

Additional info: my initial email is a company email eg example(at)company(.)com but I'm changing to to a generic example(at)company(.)com.

The company email no longer works so I'm worried that I'll not be able to access any emails in future from PayPal

Hello @sixvowels17

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some road-blocks getting a hold of our Customer Support and updating your email address.

When you add a second email address to your account, you will want to confirm it first, then make it the primary email address, and then you should be able to remove the old email address. Once you remove the old email address, any and all notifications should go to the new address.

I hope that helps,
