How long must I wait for Paypal to resolve a dispute?

I sold an item on EBay, shipped it using USPS though my ad stated I would ship UPS. My buyer went ballistic, filed a claim with Paypal to hold the funds. I responded with the tracking number. The package was delivered last friday and when I review the open dispute it still says "paypal is reviewing". So I assume eventually Paypal will get off their **bleep** and see that it's been a week since I provided them with the proof of delivery and that they need to resolve this dispute once and for all. My question is, after I have posted 3 notes over the past week to be sent to Paypal to help them resolve the dispute I am not getting any sign that there is life at Paypal and that they are doing a **bleep** thing except holding my money and letting my buyer keep his item for free. We're talking $200 here and I need the money. How can I get Paypal's attention to let them know they need to do something to resolve this??

So much for Paypal's seller protection.

Thanks for letting me vent.

well they took my money and wouldn't refund it after I had sent an item back-I supplied them with the signed redlivery note and they told me to sort it out myself

Just like you,I did everything the agents asked. The buyer never opened a dispute,we both sent in proof to the so-called email claims dept. WTF...After all that they refunded money back into his account, then told me to take it to small claims court.

Here's web site everyone with claim needs to check out LETS SUE PAYPAL.COM an attorney is gathering information against both ebay and paypal, got my response  instantly. So far over 1/2 million people are signed up,all us little people DO have chance for our voice to be heard.

The spaces were in the original submission, but disappeared after hitting the submit button.  I have alerted the web page designers of the problem.

It takes around one month approx 30 days. But it also requires communication between buyer and seller for whicih you need to check carefully on rght hand side of your account page if it says ACTION REQUIRED if you click on that you will see a question or requirement by paypal or buyer then simply reply that. The faster you do it the sooner your dispute will be resolved otherwise it will be resolved in approx 4 weeks time. I have been using paypal for so many years and this is what I have noticed.

Let me know if this does not help.. and please explain what exactly happened.. I would appreciate that and answer you .
