Dispute Denied

I entered a dispute 45+ days after I ordered something online. The seller was in China (had no idea) and I received the package yesterday. I ordered 8 canisters of Clorox wipes and received a 3 in by 3 in package with a pair of black socks. Paypal denied my claim as they show a package was received. A package was received but not what I ordered. Now, I am not able to dispute this item again as Paypal is showing the case as closed. How do I get in touch with them to get my money back as I didnt get what i ordered?

Hey Girly  👋

So since this Seller has scammed you sometimes they can "bypass" that with the Tracking number saying "Received" and win the case but you can turn that right around on them! Give PayPal customer Service a call and make sure you have screenshots of all of this and then phone them and ask them to reopen the case as only the PayPal reps can reopen and then ask them to send them the screenshots of everything to add to the case!

To find there number just google search "PayPal Customer Service Phone Number" and phone that number and after you followed what I said you will get your money back ASAP and there account will be limited until they abide by the Seller rules! Sellers can get away with it cause of the Robotic system PayPal has with the Dispute system its better talking to a human instead of just typing. I know its convenient but you have more options phoning!

Hi @susand99 and @xXIlIlIlIlIXx,

I'm sorry to hear that you received something other than what was ordered. It sounds like your case was opened as one of Item Not Received, and it was closed because the item was received. The case may be appealed as the item you received was Significantly Not As Described. If the option is not listed in the Resolution Center, please contact customer service through one of the options listed on the Contact page, which can be found by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.

It is vitally important that you do not call any numbers found through search engines, as there is no guarantee that the numbers are legitimate and fraudsters may be able to get fake numbers listed as numbers before the search engine admins are able to take them down. To prevent phishing and identity theft, only contact PayPal through one of the approved contact methods listed on the PayPal site.

I hope this helps!

Olivia
