i can't add my VISA Debit card into paypal?

hi, am adding my Global Debit-**bleep**-ATM card (VISA) to paypal, but it keep saying as;

"This credit card has been refused by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your credit card issuer's Customer Service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card."

what is the problem here? i used my card and withdrawed money in last week too.

should i contact my bank or anyone here can help me?

Hey, I have the same issue, my old VISA debit card has expired so now I can't add the new one. It says "This card is not accepted. Please use a different card."

I am not able to add any of my cards either it is debit or credit card to tmy pay pal ac, can anyone help me out.

Both me and my partner are unable to add our VISA Debit cards to our PayPal accounts. This is NOT an issue with our banks and the cards are working to process other paymenrts. Please sort this out PayPal its seriously annoying,

Hello, 

I got my new Visa card just yesterday, there is some money on my bank account, because I used it previously. I can't link it to my paypal account. This is my first time using the site and it's already confusing. Why does it not accept my card? I get "try another card" message. My card is enabled for international use, that is confirmed. I even tried making another paypal account after deleting my initial one because I thought I did something wrong, and the same thing happens. All the provided data is correct and I don't see how it could be my mistake. Can you help me resovle the issue? There is nothing wrong with the card nor with provided data, so I really can't see the reason for the error message.

I just get this error message: "We were unable to process your credit card registration at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date."

I have tried to add both Visa and Mastercard but I keep getting this same error message. Also paypal support doesn't answer in Twitter or Facebook or their help center. I've been getting this error over week and doesn't matter if I use Visa or Mastercard. For example I added my card to Ebay without any problems!!

Thank you for contacting the Community Forum and welcome to Bushdrift as a new Community member!

When you add a new card to PayPal, we temporarily charge a small test amount to your card ($1.00). Some card issuers are unaware of this and will decline the $1.00 charge which in turn declines the card. This can happen if its only updating an expired card. I would suggest contacting your card issuer and making sure they have verified the card.

@mt247 - we are experiencing larger volumes through our Facebook and Twitter pages so I do apologize for the delay. If you are still unable to add a card please contact us by phone or email using the "Help and Contact" tab at the bottom of any PayPal page.

PayPal has the worst support ever, I believe that support guys at PayPal don't even read the problems correctly!!!!! It's really shameful for a company like PayPal.

I have sent them so many tickets but no one can come up with a correct answer.

It is better to not to use PayPal at all.

I could not update my card info after it expired, so lucky me I deleted it..

Now I am trying to add new card that I got instead of expired one and it says: This card is not accepted. Please use a different card.
