Hi everyone,
As a lot of you may be aware and have been affected by, there was a delay with withdrawals that were initiated on the PayPal website in the early part of this month. There was a significant delay and there was a lot of people affected by it and it took a while to be resolved by our technical team. I can only sincerely apologise for any delays that you may have incurred.
This has been resolved since and all of the money should be appearing in your bank accounts by now. If any of you are still having issues or delays, please contact us directly so that we can review your account specifically.
You also should have had the £5.00 GBP withdrawal fee's refunded back your PayPal balances.

Paypal is becoming a right pain in the a++. they are quick enough to take money for fees etc. yet when try to withdraw funds and paying £5 fee for 1 / 2 day transfer it is still taking nearly 10 days to reach bank. ok you say it is security checks etc but didnt we do all this when registering account. bank deposits verification letters etc etc ????????????? . Due to being a small bussiness i do not need all this hassle you are being paid for a service which you currantly dont seem to be able to supply. ok checks 1 a year maybe but not every withdraw. i am now seriously thinking about removing paypal as a payment option as i cannot plan fianances and bill payments due to constant mess up's.
paypal you need to sort it out very soon as i am sure you will lose a lot of customers due to this. or have you just got so big now that you dont care about people as you have there money a making lots of interest on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Same again as the other day...which was sorted funnily enough as soon as I complained in here. 2 hour withdrawl, and guess what...stuck in bloody pending again. If there is a problem admit it, don't give us the crap that it's fixed because cleary it aint, it's getting worse.

I too am getting sick of this, I have been with PayPal 7+ years I have put £ thousands through, and now since the "NEW QUICK WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM" was put in place My money has now been held up for "security checks" on 3 separate occasions two times this last week For god’s sake what can be flagging my account the withdrawal is to the same bank it has always been. And the worst is when I phone PayPal I get told "sorry computer does it" WHY???????
Skynet is now with us folks.
Bloody shame as I have put so many people unto PayPal and now you can't even get a human to look into something so wrong that it is messing your business etc. etc. Don't forget the fees we are being charges on each sale is huge.
AGGGHHHHHHH rant over now I wait for my money

Hi,I have transfered over 3 amounts of money betweem Saturday night and this morning and all three have been held for a security review.I have been using the same ebay,paypal and bank account for the last 7 years and transferred over large and small amounts and I have never had one transfer request held for a security review until now.This has only happened when they removed the fast transfer option which I was willing to pay £5.00 for and would have continued to pay for given the choice.It is not random when all three transfer requests have been held for a security review.To add insult to injury they have no customer service/support available out of hours or over a weekend.How can a company that operates a 24/7,worldwide business only have customer support 9.00am to 5.30pm,five days a week.The only saving grace is that having read the threads here I know it is not just me,it makes me feel a little bit better.On top of that yesterday I had problems with printing paypal postage,it would do x amount of labels and then my browser would not be able to locate paypal and I would have to wait 5 minutes and then it would some more before grinding to a halt again,not good when I had 28 parcels to dispatch.Ah well,another week,more stress.

Hi, the withdrawal issues have not been resolved as I have been trying since Wednesday last week to withdraw funds but just keep getting told of 'technical issues' when will this be resolved.

As of today, the faster withdrawls option has vanished from my paypal account. Its replaced by a withdrawl page which gives no indication of how long it will take to withdraw funds.
So, "Withdrawl issues now resolved" erm, I don't think so !

No they are not resolved...........I have had 2 withdrawal requests 23 aug & 27(today)immediately reversed-no explanation from paypal.What is going on?I have checked everything is ok my end like expiry dates on cards ,my business account seems fine.No human to talk to from paypal is so frustrating!

I am a UK customer and have been with PayPal for many years. Same problem as others here - request withdrawal, told it is being reviewed, and then it is reversed. I was told it was my bank who had declined the transfer, but they have no knowledge of it. I contacted customer services who told me it was a software problem and they were looking into it. Meantime they have my money and I don't! Just not good enough - dreadful service. Makes me very suspicious that they are deliberately delaying withdraw requests so they have the money for longer - did not happen before the new 'improved' two hour transfer service. I was also told my bank account details on PayPal had been suspended, when they have not been. Customer services said I had received the wrong email! I despair.

I have had exactly the same emails, problems for the last week, my bank can see no reason why the transfer is not happening which seems that the problem is with paypal, very frustrating, reliant on moving the money over! Is it a ploy to get everyone to use their access card?
