I was due to fly out to a funeral 8th April 2020, paying over the top due to Easter. Etihad London to Bangkok The whole fleet was grounded due to Covid-19, fair enough. But when I requested a refund via PayPal ( was purchased with PayPal Credit), was told by PayPal this was Impossible as service was delivered !!!) Sorry but any simple check will find out that there was no service, so how can a service be delivered ?? Compare this with my account, I sell an Item, I post off item, item doesn't arrive, instant refund to purchaser unless tracking. But service from me was obviously delivered, the post ( or buyer lying ) is the cause. Where as in my dispute there is obviously no service as Abu Dhabi grounded all flights, easy to check. Can't help but feel double standard here, one for us one for big clients. Comments welcome. BTW been with PayPal since 2002, and angry
