@PayPal_Olivia Actually Spoof@PayPal.com is permitted. How are we supposed to help posters recognize the difference between spoofed and email addresses if we can explain the details. Many see the spoofed address and overlook the real one, as might have happened here if the poster had described the real email address? That is what I was getting at. What the poster saw may well have been a spoofed address.

Having and using a swipe-only card is no risk to the user so there is no reason to be concerned about using it. The risk of using a swipe-only card is to the merchant; as long as the merchant accepts the risk, then don't be concerned. You will eventually get a card replacement when the bank issuer determines it is in the best interest for the bank.

A PayPal account is a personal account. That means it needs a real person's name (one person) and that real person's SS#. So, start by your or your friend setting up a PayPal account correctly. If you want to have a business account you can use your personal name as your business name until you get a registered business name. If you already opened a personal account with a fake person's name then you will have problems.

You have no valid proof of delivery (tracking number) so no reason to appeal. You would need to phone PayPal support if you wanted to appeal a case. In future make sure you use a tracking number to show delivery. Check PayPal polices for delivery proof requirements.

As soon as the transaction detail on your computer shows OK to ship you are fine. There is no way prevent buyer from filing a dispute of some sort. Make sure you review and thoroughly understand PayPal seller protection policies. You must follow the rules precisely.

Then, for PayPal there will be no confirmation of receipt. Also, seller has no seller protection without tracking number to show delivery. As far as PayPal is concerned there is no delivery. There is no reason for a buyer to confirm delivery as there is no benefit to the buyer by doing so.
