hi i bought a few items using my paypal account and balance but after after i bought the items i noticed  that no money had been taken from my paypal account [i have plenty of money in my paypal account] ,and when i checked my bank account linked to paypal  the money had been taken from my bank account ,i had 2 standing orders which could not be paid because of the  money paypal used ,i have not been hit with 2 £35 fines from my bank due to paypal using my money from the bank and not from paypal ,i contacted paypal and they said they knew about the problem and it would be sorted within a week !they seem to be brushing this problem of as not their fault !  surely paypal are responsable for the fines ive been hit with because they should have used my paypoal account  instead of my bank account ? has anyone else had this problem ...  i had money taken from my account tonight and paypal give me a message number to see the details, once i click on the number it tells me i have no disputes or problems etc ,i have rang paypal took me 40 minutes  to get through but the lad on the phone told me he can see what i am talking about and transfered me to a department that deals with that complaint ,i hour and 45 minutes i waited and i had to stop the call listening to recorded music ,for too long  i have now sent them an email about this .ok they say they will be intouch with me in the next 24 hours ?? but i worry now  if a lot of money had been taken from my account how would i contact paypal about it ? has anyone had the same problem ? regards paul ... Hi everyone,   As kernowlass mentioned, the account will usually work normally even if the steps are under 100% complete.  However it does matter which steps have been completed.   You can see what limits are on your account by clicking the "See how much you can send with PayPal" towards the lower left corner of the Summary page.    Or log into your account and use this link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_lift-limits   The most common way to become Verified is to link and confirm a bank account.  For some countries, the account can only be Verified by linking and confirming a card.   @Terriaam, I suggest contacting support directly so we can investigate and locate any other accounts that may be causing the problem.  https://www.paypal.com/help   I hope this helps! 🙂   - Frank ... Hi there Allthingsirish2,   I am sorry to hear that you are not having a good experience with a buyer who has purchased items from you recently.   In the event of a buyer opening a dispute for an item not as described, we may ask your buyer to return the item to you. We will not refund the transaction to your buyer before the item has been returned. They will be asked to provide us with proof to show the item has been returned and we will also provide the details to you.   If you are to receive a different item back or if there are items missing, you may be able to appeal the outcome of the case through your account. You should get in contact with us as soon as you receive the items back if there are any differences in the ones that you sent to your buyer initially.   I hope this information helps,   David. ...
