Paypal Error Message

A friend tried to send me money into my Friends and Family account but got an error message from PP as follows. PP does not allow payments to this country. We are both in the uk but i haven't used my account recently. I logged in and all seemed ok, am i missing something? Regards Alan

I'm sorry to hear your friend was unable to send you a payment recently. If you're both in the UK, that's definitely an odd error message for them to have received. To ensure your account is fully set up to receive payments, I have a few things to check. First, you'll want to ensure your email address and phone number are confirmed. After that, I suggest making sure your account is verified, your identity is confirmed, and you don't have any limitations. You can check for limitations in your Resolution Center and Customer Identification Portal using the links I've included.

Same problem, im being told by customer service today there is nothing wrong with my account after telling her that there is because people are being told my account won’t accept the country when we are all in the same country, i can’t send or recieve , and the PayPal help just kept repeating herself no error no error and in the end it was just getting to a point that it was as if it was a prank
