Why is my balance lower than the amounts I have been paid? Why can't I get through to the chat at any time of the day to ask?
I have been paid these amounts so my balance should be 47.13 but it's only 39.52. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are fees when you receive payments for goods or services regardless of countries or currencies, the fees are higher when you receive international payments.
The only time you don't pay a fee is when you receive a personal payment ie friends/family payment but you are not allowed to accept that option for payment from buyers, that is where you are getting confused on the fees issue.

Your paypal fee is deducted instantly from your buyers payment before the remainder is credited to your balance.
This is unlike sites like Ebay that invoice you on a monthly basis.

Thank you. I have been looking through the info on the site to see what fees there are and from what I've read there shouldn't be any fees when currencies are all the same. What are the fees please and where can I find out about them? Thanks

Thanks, I read through the attachment. All payments were from friends, none were requested, so I am still not clear why I have been charged, or indeed what I have been charged. As far as I can see, they should all be no fee.

I have dug deeper and found that only one transaction was charged a fee & that was 88p. So I am none the wiser as to where the other pounds have gone??? Or how I have ask Paypal to find out.
