I sent a payment to someone, but they cannot get into their PayPal account, is it possible for me to file a dispute to get that back? I am in Jamaica, they are in the USA.

Is it marked as pending / unclaimed or payment or sent?

If its marked as sent then did you send a friends/family payment OR a goods/services one?

Thank you for getting the ball rolling on this, @kernowlass!

Hi @Tyrese989,

I'm sorry to hear that the recipient is having trouble accessing the funds from your payment. From what you've described, it sounds like the transaction went through successfully. In situations like this, it would be best for the recipient to contact PayPal directly for assistance with locating their money. If you purchased something using the Goods and Services option and they have not fulfilled the agreement, you can file a dispute through the Resolution Center as well.

I hope this is resolved for you quickly!

Hi @PayPal_Marina ,

I had already submitted a dispute with  payapl. It was a family member that I sent the payment to, so hopefully, I can get it back.

Thanks for your concern though! I really appreciate it.
