My etsy order valued 565 USD was given a shipping discount of 493 USD , how and why did this happen

My etsy order valued 565 USD was given a shipping discount of 493 USD by Paypal , how and why did this happen. Etsy is showing me the customer paid 565 USD and ETSY has charged me the US tax and transaction fee as per 565 USD rates which is more than what Paypal paid me. Kindly help

So Etsy did their deductions for US sales tax and their selling fees that totaled to $493 USD? PayPal doesn’t get really involved with shipping discounts. Check your PayPal shipping calculator settings in the AppCenter under the ‘Streamline Operations’ section or your shipping settings on Etsy.
