Is there anyway of avoiding the additional 20p that Paypla charges on top of the 3.5%.
If I sell items less than £5 the fee paypal charges works out really expensive
Thanks for your help

Sorry but no.
But if you sell really low cost items have you considered a micropayment account??

Never heard of micropayment account? It's frustrating for me, as my smallest items are from £1, but can also take regular large payments. The 20p is a massive fee on the smaller transactions.

Hi goblindreams,
Welcome to the community forum.
Our Micropayments are designed for people who usually accept payments that are smaller. The fee would be 5% + 5p per transaction rather than the standard transaction fee. If you are also receiving large payments this might not suit you but if you would like to apply for it you would just need to give us a quick call. To find our number click 'contact' at the bottom of any page and then call us.
I hope this helps.
Rachael
