Hi every body
A buyer has asked for a refund for a item He bought through Ebay. I will put it up for second chance Which I am told I wili not be charged again through Ebay. But will the £34 charged by Pay pal for transaction be refunded to me or will I have to deduct it from the buyers refund. I do not want to make anything Ijust dont want it to cost me anything.
Cheers Mickmick

If you use the "refund option" then your paypal fee that you were charged when the buyer paid is refunded apart from a 20p processing fee.

Hi
Thats brilliant .
Just one extra question you minght help me on. I understand that I will get a refund of the final valuation but is the relisting free,
If not the buyer states He will pay for relisting . How do I remove the relisting charge from his repayment or do I just hope he will send it through paypal.
Thanks Very much Mick

If you are using the second chance offer option then there should be no listing fee as you are offering it to the second person ie the underbidder that just lost out on the win !!
If you relist an item and it sells second time around then normally your listing fee is credited.
But i would double check that on the ebay boards.
You can send a full or part refund on agreement with the buyer, when you click to refund it shows the full amount but you can delete that and put in whatever was agreed before you send the refund.
