Hello @CatJ76

Welcome! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some unrecognized activity on your PayPal account. Normally, we recommend reporting any unrecognized activity through the Resolution Center. Here's an article to guide you through that process: How do I report an unauthorized transaction or account activity?

Best wishes!

From what I understand, and have also have issue with, this company is a sponsored seller on Instragram using the name Mix-Clever.

I too am having issue with it. I ordered on instagram, and tried to cancel within 24 hours. But they immediately shipped (or said they shipped), as soon as I tried to cancel. The order is shipped by: [removed]

It seems to have shipped from Ireland. Sent to the US west coast, even though I'm on the east coast, and now, almost 1 month after ordering, it's sent to North Charleston.

I am not getting any more communications from the company even though I contact their support email as well as their PayPal email.

If you look at the personal instagram page: (mix-clever), there there are no posts.

To add to this problem, their cancellation policy says: 'we accept order cancellation before the product is shipped or produced.'

And their return policy says: 'The customer has the right to apply for return within 14 days after receiving the invoice'.

But they don't give you an invoice, and the item did not arrive within 14 days.

I suggest you contact PayPal to raise a red flag about this supplier.

I also see on www.scamwatcher.com/scam/view/361844 others have had an issue with this supplier.

Good luck.

I also had an unauthorized charge on 01/09/2022- directly from my bank but the bank site also lists PayPal on the transaction.  The charge is NOT on my PayPal activity and I did not make an order. My bank is handling the dispute and considers it a fraud charge.

Hello @Jaclyn338

Thanks for posting your question in the PayPal Help Community and welcome!

I understand your concern about the unrecognized transaction in your PayPal account. No worries! PayPal protection policy covers all confirmed unauthorized charges. You can review the payment details in the activity page of your PayPal account. if you still don't recognize the charge, I recommend you to update your password, security questions and report the unauthorized activity in the resolution center of your PayPal account. PayPal will investigate and update you the details via email in 10 days. Here's the article with the steps to report the unauthorized charges in your PayPal account.

Hope this helps you,

Bindu

Thank for you responding. The charge is not listed in my paypal account so I cannot dispute it they way the article explains. It was charged to my debit card. The transaction is read: "PAYPAL *AN [removed]--PAYPAL *ANCESTRY--San Jose CA"

How do I get this removed?

Thank you,
