Suing PayPal in small court

Hi, 

I have an issue with paypal where they banned my account permanently and i can not get my money till after 6 months. i have done nothing wrong to be banned and they say it is because the acceptable use policy. i have contacted them many times with no human response and keep getting automated response. 

 i will file a claim in small court and see how it goes because legally paypal can not hold peoples money for 6 months simply because they are not above the law and everyone should obey the law. without a judge ordering them to hold the money they have no right to hold it just because they are a big corporation and can do so. i will make this publicly and will notify many media outlets about the issue to teach those people a lesson on not **bleep** people with their practices just because they are a big corporation an think they are above the law. i hope many people will do the same so they can know that people have power and can file claims where a judge can hear them instead if emailing their computers.

BTW everyone can file a claim in small court even if they have in the agreement that you cannot do so. they will send you threats to scare you but remember that they are not the law and in this free country, you can have a judge hear you out.

I just filed lawsuit last week in federal court google catalano v paypal, they have a forced arbitration agreement in aup so we will see what happens stole thousands from me claimed I violated a.u.p. selling tobacco pipes but according to their policy tobacco pipes are able to be sold.  This company is a bottom feeding scum whos business plan is to steal everyones money they can.

They did the same thing to me. I waited the 180 days and then had them send me a check through the mail. Well the check never arrived so I had them cancel the check and put the money back in my account. Today i called them to get them to transfer the money to my bank account and they told me that the money is not available to do anything with and the only way they could give me any information as to why is if I take legal action. I've been waiting almost 8 months now to get my money, my family is struggling really bad right now and we NEED this money but they wont release it and wont even tell me why.

Good luck buddy. I'm gonna try and start a company like PayPal and steal all if their customers. Thats the karma that gets attention. They're stealing our money and earning millions in interest off of it in those 6 months. I guess its legal because of their shady user agreement. I've got a surprise they won't see coming. Sue them in small claims and ask for all your money (amount+fee refund+penalty) back.

even after the 180 days they're still not giving me my money and no one will talk to me and no one will give me an answer just automated responses somebody has to stop them from doing this to people and whoever works for them should be ashamed of themselves as well!! Knowing that they're working for a company that's stealing off people who could barely make ends meet!! And it's crippling because there's nothing you can do about it and if somebody finds out something that you can please let me know cuz I would do anything to take these people down!! They have caused me so much angst not to mention the financial loss!!!

Any update? i'm looking to sue in small claims court right now. Already filed complaints with consumer finance and the BBB.

They ignored all my complaints. Took them to small claims and asked for the money, refund of fees and and penalty for unlawful seizure of assets. I won. Good luck

Yes, they do this. You have to aggressively fight back on any and all review sights like trustpilot. First time it was the fight of my life most recent time I actually got a human with a grasp of the English language and was able to resolve it, how novel! Pay Pal knowingly allows fraudulent companies from outside the U.S. use Pay Pal, one claimed to sell SE bikes another mats, others various nonexistent products. Pay Pal has no shame, they hope you give up and keep your money.
