I have a problem with a dispute. Stuck at i have to return the item, but i don't have it.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with a dispute. I am waiting until tomorrow to call paypal but i would like to get another opitions as well. Situation: I recieved damaged due to transport a large package. I've contacted the seller first for a return slip(i've asked several times that and made screenshots for proof) and i didnt recieved one at all. The seller assured me that he will fix with the delivery firma everything(because i can't, it is not a private parcel) and in this time ive asked several repair shops if the item could be repaired and they said no. I didn't recieve a slip, i was assured everything will be fixed for a refund and no option of repair - so i've recycled the item. And then it happend, the seller lied and told me that the delivery firm won't do anything(i have spoken with them and they told me he need to show them only the proof i already sent), and that he wants the item back for a refund. I took maters to paypal i wrote everything, with proof, screenshots. The selled offered me a partial refund of 10 euros(the item was 410 euros) i declined and now i paypal wants me to return it with proof, for the full refund. But i've already told them what happend i can't return the item(at the beggining i've checked the box that i don't wat to return it and wrote why as well). Now i am stuck with this, 6 times ive asked for a return slip, because the box was extremly large and it would cost me at least 20 - 30 more euros to return it. Any ideas what could i do? Like i said, i will call paypal tomorrow, but i need another oppinions as well..

Normally if you win a claim for item received but not as described you always have to return it back to the seller for a refund.
Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.
So always send back with tracking if you are agreeing with the merchant for a return so if they don't refund you can open a claim and provide paypal with the tracking number to prove you returned it and also never ditch it before any dispute/claim has been resolved.
Advice is voluntary.
