Not covered. You are covered only if the buyer paid in person when they pick up using PayPal goods and services QR code.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hi @tiger0575,

Thank you for your post and reply, and welcome to the Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that you were in a transaction where you gave the buyer the item and they disputed the transaction.

The transaction would not be covered for Buyer Protection or Seller Protection, but it then becomes a matter of proof that the item was arranged to be collected in person, which is very difficult. If you have compelling evidence of that fact, you may want to call Customer Service to advise of that if there was not an opportunity to do so during the dispute. To learn more about Buyer Protection, you can take a look at this page. To find your contact options, click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.

I hope this helps you make decisions for future transactions, and aids you in evaluating the risks of transactions that may or may not qualify for Seller Protection. I wish you luck with this dispute!

Olivia
