Paid for an invoice and it's showing as paid but no money has left my connected bank account.

I have paid an invoice and all seemed fine, got the confirmation email. When I checked the bank account that I made the payment from there had been no charge, not even a pending transaction. I contacted my bank and there is no record of this transaction. I have emailed the person who I paid to see if they received the money but no response from them yet. Can't seem to find any information about this anywhere and finding a way to contact PayPal is harder than it should be.

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.

Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.

This isn't the first time I have paid an invoice on PayPal. Every other time it is pretty much immediately listed as pending on my bank account but nothing this time. I also contacted my bank directly and there is no record of the transaction even existing, even if it is slow they should be able to see the transaction.
