Hi everyone, I’m new here and I was wondering if there’s a way to receive paperless statements. Including end of year statements? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Barbs5,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I understand that you would like to go paperless. If you're refering for PayPal account statement, you can download a report of your transaction activity for up to the past 7 years into PDF, Quicken, QuickBooks, or as a CSV or TAB file. Here's the help center article to know more information to download statements. If you're referring to an opt-in Paperless\electronic PayPal Credit statement, please follow these steps.
1. Click on "PayPal Credit (previously Bill Me Later)
2. Click "View Statements
3. A pop-out menu on the right will allow you to select a statement. If you'd like to change your statement preferences, click "Manage Statements" at the bottom of the page.
4. In the PayPal Credit section, you can choose Estatements or Paperless statements.

Good Luck,
Ayesha

Hi Ayesha, Thank you so much for your reply. I have followed your advice but unfortunately it hasn’t solved my problem. I did exactly as you said, I clicked on a statement but there is no where that points to choose my statement preferences ie paperless. Do you think if I rang PayPal they could help with my request? Once again thank you for replying. Regards Barbara.

Hi @Barbs5

Welcome back! Yes! You can absolutely reach out to our Customer Support teams to see what options are available for you. Here's an article on How to reach PayPal Customer Service.

I hope that helps!

I thought I’d pop on to share my experience with PayPal. Unfortunately you are not allowed to have total paperless statements. So I’ve learned today that you have to have your yearly statement through the post. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my question.

I too am a bit tired of endless mail. I see they still send you your yearly statement. But did they allow you to receive your monthly bills digitally? I hope you can help me.

Hi, yes I still get monthly statements digitally. Unfortunately yearly ones are still sent through the post. I hope that helps.

I had one arrive this morning, made even crazier by the fact that it contained strings of £0.00 and nothing to pay. I don't understand the reasoning for not giving us the paperless option. Our UK banks encourage us to. There will be a mainframe computer somewhere producing these things in their 1000s, post room staff, then postal charges. If PayPal want to go on a cost savings exercise, this would be a good place to start. Saw some old PayPal posts and there was once an option it seems.

I have tried and just end up going round in circles, I just cannot see an option to turn off receiving statements in the post. When I click on Statements I see the list and can view or download previous statements, yet I have just received a paper PayPal Credit statement in the post. I can see no drop down or any other option to turn this off completely
