Refund has gone to balance not card

I have a refund for something that I paid with a card, but the refund has gone to my paypal balance and not the card.  How can I correct this?

I have had refunds before without any problems before. I've only ever used 1 card so I can't see what the problem is here.

There is not a problem but you have not read the answer already posted >>>>>

If a payment was funded by your PayPal balance or your bank, the refund will always goes back to your PayPal balance.

If a payment was funded by your debit/credit card, the refund will go directly back to the card involved.....takes about a week to process through once the refund has cleared.
