use credit card, not balance

How do I set up my account NOT to use a balance to pay for an item I specifically want to pay for WITH A CREDIT CARD? 

"Using balance first" screws up my accounting for moneys coming in.

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.

Thanks for that reply. However, here are my options on that link. NONE say "don't use balance first" or "use credit card first"
