I have a number of regular sites that I purchased from which do not ask me for confirmation for PayPal transaction.
I do not recall providing an exemption for these site why does this happen.

Check your browser settings > autofill and remove sites you don't want the password saved on.

Than you for getting back just to clarify it’s the sms confirmation which is sent to me prior to submitting the payment.
On a couple of regular sites the sms confirmation is skipped and automatically pays after PayPal is selected.
