I made two purchases on eBay using Visa Vanilla gift cards, non-reloadable. The two items never arrived and I did get refunded for both. I no longer have the gift cards and don’t know their numbers. Is there any way I can get PayPal to transfer those returns to my PayPal balance?
When you fund a payment using a card, even a gift card and a refund is issued the refund will automatically go back to that card. The best thing to do would be to contact the card issuer to see what they can do to help. In some cases, if the card issuer/gift card company cannot add the refund back on then they will push the funds back to PayPal and they will end up back in your PayPal balance.
