Please help me understand why this occurred. I make one payment from PayPal on a regular basis. It’s from Ancestry.com. I also have Groupon linked to my PayPal. Recently, an ancestry payment came out of my bank account for 34.99. I also made A Groupon purchase that came out of my bank account (again, through PayPal). My boyfriend sent me money by accident using the business transaction and got charged the fee. Fine right? With the fee, I was supposed to receive 582 from him. However, I only received 548. PayPal is telling me that they took money from the balance that was there in my account from the money he sent me (because I didn’t do the accept yet) from one or both of those two other payments. This is why I received the 548. Why did this happen? I can conveniently no longer see my messages in the message center now after going back and forth and asking three times to talk to A supervisor. Am I missing something?
