According to an email I rec'd today:
'For transactions that require eBay to collect tax from buyers, the tax amount will be included in the gross purchase amount to be processed.'
Meaning that they are going to charge me a fee for this new amount???

Yes, if eBay and PayPal doesn't do that separating of tax from purchase amount thing they do/did (adaptive payments or chained payments, I think its called) where PayPal routes the tax to eBay and routes the purchase amount to seller from the total amount paid, then you'll be charged PayPal fee on the tax. 😞
I guess since eBay is developing Managed Payments, there is no obligation for PayPal to do the adaptive payment system. Oh well.
Nickel and dime, nickel and dime.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
