I am looking to buy a puppy from a breeder in the US, but have been met with quite a few shady people. I'm looking to find out if buyer protection applies to dog purchases in the event that the dog is not shipped to me.
As long as you don't use the friends/family option OR pay to their personal paypal.me link without marking it goods/services then you should have buyer protection.
However that protection is not a 100% coverall so your best bet is to go read up on it in paypals user agreement so you can risk assess your transaction.
