Business invoiced me for Goods and Services fees

Hi

 

I've been invoiced for the fees paypal charge for paying by "Goods and Services"

Are business entitled to do this?

Depends. Some regions they can, like Australia because of certain taxes as PayPal fees are charged on them.

 

So you'll need to look up the user agreement of where the business is based and see if it is allowed or not:

When it is not allowed, a business can charge a "handling fee" but can't say it is to cover PayPal fees so to discourage the use of PayPal and it has to be a flat rate for all their sales/orders.
