Improvements to the Shipping Label Tool

Hi everyone!
There are some exciting new changes coming in the next few weeks and months!
We are replacing our current shipping label tool for another that can save you time and money.
Over the next few weeks, PayPal will be directing customers to a new and improved tool for creating shipping labels.
The new PayPal tool is powered by eBay and very similar to the current one, but it is easier to use and comes with added advantages, including extra service options, and USPS shipping rates that are up to 32.5% less than what you pay now. You can read all about the benefits in the new tool’s FAQs.
What Do I Need to Do?
Nothing right now. Just be aware that starting March 27, 2012, when you go to create a shipping label, you may be automatically directed to use the new PayPal tool.
How Does the Shipping Label Tool Work?
Working with the new tool should be easy and very similar to the one you use now. If you do need help, these FAQs, demos, and tutorials are right there to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Well, it's the strangest thing. When I click "profile" it shows all the elements one after another. Under "phone" it shows :
Those 913 numbers are from 6 years ago. When I click "update" it shows me ONLY the 360 number, with options to "edit" or "remove" -- like this:

Why does the order status on the account overview page continue to say print shipping label after i create the shipping label through the shipping label tool?

biker.........this is an old PayPal glitch that was created when they made some change over a year ago. Now they don't seem to want to fix it. A real pain for us.

Prior to September 26, 2012, after I printed a shipping label, SHIPPED track would appear under PRINT SHIPPING LABEL. It no longer does so.
I was very comfortable with knowing that my label actually went through and that I could send my buyer the tracking number.
I hope that SHIPPED track will be returned.

I refuse to use the new Ebay shipping site, ever since it took money out of my bank account to pay for a label. I want to pay for my labels with my CC. It did NOT give me that option.
I cut and paste the info from the Details into my Shipnow window.
My main problem now, is , about 10% of the time, I get a "Paypal shipping is not available now" message , which I realize is only temporary, BUT I have to enter ALL MY INFO again - why can't I just go back a page and hit the Print button again? The Print button is not there, it is replaced by a "Return to Ebay" button. WTF????

If you REALLY want to ruin your day, try using multi-order shipping.....It was never fun to use before September 26, 2012, but now it is thorougly frustrating. I answer all the questions regarding weight, USPS, dot my p's & q's, hit the little green icon that says Print label and my computer sits, sits and sits, doing nothing. Then the "sorry paypal multi-print is not working at this time" message appears. So, I wait for a while and go back through the whole process again and push every button on the page, same as I did before and voila! it prints....however when I check my status page, I see that I have been charged for two transactions instead of one.
Paypal live person was very nice and explained that since being taken over by Ebay, the program has been giving them problems but they are working on it. She refunded both the duplicate transaction charge that I made today, and also one that I made the day before....
While I had her on the line, I mentioned the fact that the status page no longer says "track" (I talked about this in a previous post)....a very important issue for me, she said that the technicians are aware of it and are working on it too.
So folks, I guess there is hope for us somewhere in the future!

We have the same problem. Beside the transaction it always says "Print Shipping Label" although the "Details" show that the item has been shipped and shows a tracking number.
We probably need to take up a collection for PayPal to hire USA programmers!

Hi,
I just tried unsuccessfully to print a shipping label. I keep getting "invalid dimensions" error messages. After a lot of wasted time, (one hour total) of reaing the FAQs for help, calling UPS who directed me to PayPal and two Customer Service disconections later, I am extremely frustrated. Your Customer Service department should be trained in how to handle Customers and provide solutions and try to be courteous. HANGING UP is not a way to handle customers. This happened TWICE because the reps could not help me. At least the second one tried; the first agreed with me that maybe I should bring the item to the Post Office for shipping!!! And mind you, I respectfully communicated to them that I was frustrated, but extremely respectful and courteous beyond that. Your Customer Service Department should learn the same.

I'm certainly not the only one having an issue with PayPal not being updated to shipped rather still has the "print shipping label" status even though the tracking information is added to the transaction.
Is this going to be fixed?

Nice to see paypal cares about is users with this tracking info update !! Cant find any where that show they are trying to fix it. Getting really tired of this !
